JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Landskrona City is a large employer, and as a material supplier with us, you are the face of the city to its citizens and are responsible, together with our warehouse staff, for ensuring that our customers receive the right products at the right time.

The main task of our material suppliers is to handle deliveries to our citizens' homes or to our internal customers' units. The workday starts at our central warehouse in Landskrona, where you meet the management and your colleagues for a joint overview of the day's tasks. Deliveries often take place in the city by car or electric bike (cargo bike), but also in less densely populated areas and can consist of everything from aids (e.g., wheelchairs, walkers) to cleaning materials and protective equipment. During a workday, you will meet many customers in different environments, and no day is the same. During certain periods, it will also be relevant to assist in the warehouse with picking, packing, or driving forklifts, as well as helping with goods reception, loading, and delivery of furniture.

To be considered for the position, you must have a B driver's license. You are a role model in traffic and have a strong safety mindset and understand the importance of showing consideration to your fellow road users. Experience driving larger vehicles (preferably light trucks) is an advantage. It is a plus if you have good local knowledge of Landskrona and its surroundings. You need to be in good physical shape as the job may involve heavy lifting and climbing stairs. You are communicative and a proficient computer user, fluent in Swedish both spoken and written, and you enjoy meeting customers. Furthermore, you are punctual, responsible, and self-driven. Since workdays can vary, you should also be flexible and accustomed to solving problems. It feels natural for you to maintain a high level of service. The work is currently scheduled during the day but may include evenings and weekends in the future.
